ATC provides a variety of educational credit offerings. 

 

Overview


The ATC is the joint meeting of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST).  ATC provides a forum for exchange of new scientific and clinical information relevant to solid organ and tissue transplantation and brings together transplant physicians, scientists, nurses, organ procurement personnel, pharmacists, allied health professionals and other transplant professionals. The educational offerings provide attendees the opportunity to learn cutting-edge advances in research and exchange of ideas and practice in the field of solid organ and tissue transplantation.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint provider ship of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST).  The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Transplant Surgeons designates this online activity for a maximum of 134.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

ATC offers American Board of Surgery (ABS), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits to learners again this year.

Satisfactory Completion 


Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety.  Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.  


Nurses & Pharmacists


Accreditation Statement: In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and the American Transplant Congress. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
