General Information & Registration


What are the dates of ATC Virtual Connect?

The Virtual Connect will take on June 4 – 9, 2021.  The meeting has been expanded to start on June 4 (not June 5 as initially planned) because we ADDED the In-Depth Program to the Virtual Connect program!  There are 9 In-Depth Symposia planned.  View the program topics and session titles. 

Do I need to Register to participate in the ATC Virtual Connect

Yes, you must register to participate in the ATC Virtual Connect.  Registration is open.

What are the Virtual Connect Registration Fees?

The ATC offers discounted registration fees until May 5, 2021.  After this date, registration fees increase.

Is there a reduced registration fee to ASTS and/or AST members?

ATC offers reduced registration fees to ASTS or AST members.  Membership dues for 2021 must be paid by May 28, 2021 in order to qualify for MEMBER registration fees. NEW member applications are subject to additional processing time following payment.

*New/Renewing membership in ASTS or AST may take 5 - 10 business days to be active in the ATC registration system.

I See a Charge on My Credit Card for "American Transplant Congress", but I Didn't Register Yet.  Who Should I Contact?

Charges on credit cards for ATC Registration and AJT Journal Submissions both display American Transplant Congress.  To obtain a receipt or obtain clarification on a charge that displays as American Transplant Congress, please contact the ATC Registration Manager to help you determine if the charge is for ATC Registration or an AJT Journal Submission.

I am a Speaker.  How do I build my presentation for ATC Virtual Connect?

All speakers were sent an email communication from the ATC Virtual Connect platform provider, Freeman, ATCSpeakerSupport@Freemanco.com.  If you did not receive your email communication, you can contact Freeman directly by emailing ATCSpeakerSupport@Freemanco.com.

Poster Abstract Questions


My abstract was accepted as Poster.  How do I build my poster graphic?

All poster abstracts were sent an email communication from the ATC Virtual Connect platform provider, Freeman, ATCSpeakerSupport@Freemanco.com.  If you did not receive your email communication, you can contact Freeman directly by emailing ATCSpeakerSupport@Freemanco.com.

Abstract Program Information


I submitted an abstract, will it be considered for Virtual Connect

Yes, all submitted abstracts will be reviewed and accepted/declined using the same process as an in-person meeting.  For more information on abstracts, click here.

When is the deadline to submit an abstract?

The deadline to submit an abstract during the orignal submission to be considered for presentation during the ATC Virtual Connect was Friday, December 4, 2020, 11:59 PM PT.

The deadline to submit an abstract during the late breaking submission to be considered for presentation during the ATC Virtual Connect was Friday, February 12, 2021, 11:59 PM PT.  

When will abstract status notifications be sent?

Original and Late Breaking abstract submission status notifications have been sent.  For more information on how to access your status, click here.


Scientific Session Program Information


I submitted an invited symposia program for 2021 and was told it would be considered for the 2021 ATC Congress in Seattle.  Will my invited symposia program still be presented during Virtual Connect?

The ATC Program Planning Committee is working hard to create an elevated virtual experience in 2021.  Invited symposia that were selected to be presented at the Seattle Congress will still be presented during Virtual Connect.  Should any further inviited symposia program ammendments be made by the Program Planning Committee, notifications will be sent to symposia submitters directly.

When will the Scientific Program be available to view?

The Virtual Connect Scientific Program Topics & Session Titles are available.

Full presentation titles and speaker names will be available to view in March 2021.  Abstract presentation titles and author information will be available in early May 2021.

What are the details for each Program Type?

What Time Zone is the Scientific Program?

The program schedule is built in Eastern Time Zone.  The Virtual Connect platform will provide options to display the program times in the time zone you reside in or display in Eastern Time Zone.

Education Credits


Will ATC Virtual Connect provide the same types of education credits as in past in-person Congress?

Yes, ATC Virtual Connect will provide over 200 credits / contact hours of the following education credit types:

  • CME
  • ACPE
  • ANCC
  • CEPTC
